We are looking for a motivated responsible and technically skilled Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in network administration routing switching troubleshooting and maintaining network infrastructure
Candidates with previous experience working in ISPs telecommunications companies or network service providers will be given priority
We are looking for someone with a broad technical background who can work across different network environments collaborate with other infrastructure teams take ownership of responsibilities and actively contribute to improving our infrastructure and team operations
Technical Skills Requirements
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals TCP IP subnetting VLANs routing and switching
Practical experience with different networking platforms particularly Cisco Catalyst and Nexus MikroTik and FortiGate
Knowledge of switching technologies such as stacking port channel LACP STP and network redundancy
Experience with static and dynamic routing protocols particularly OSPF and BGP
Understanding of routing metrics path selection load balancing and automatic failover
Experience with redundant network architectures and connectivity between multiple locations using VPN tunnels and other tunneling technologies
Ability to troubleshoot multi site connectivity and implement automated routing and failover solutions
Familiarity with network access and authentication technologies including AAA RADIUS TACACS 802 1X and captive portals
Familiarity with Linux administration and network services such as DNS DHCP FTP SFTP SSH and NTP
Understanding of network monitoring concepts including SNMP Syslog performance metrics and alerting familiarity with platforms such as Zabbix Grafana Prometheus or similar tools and the ability to improve monitoring visibility through effective dashboards and visualizations
Familiarity with network automation using Ansible Python or Bash is an advantage
General Job Responsibilities
Configure maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure and devices
Maintain network availability reliability performance and redundancy
Manage LAN WAN internet connectivity and communication between different locations
Implement and maintain routing switching and failover solutions
Monitor network infrastructure and proactively identify and resolve issues
Participate in network upgrades expansions and infrastructure improvement projects
Coordinate with ISPs and third party providers when required
Maintain network documentation diagrams and configuration backups
Work closely with system administration virtualization DevOps and other IT teams
Share knowledge support colleagues and contribute to the improvement of team operations

Experience Qualifications
3 5 years of professional experience in network engineering or network administration
Previous experience in an ISP telecommunications company or network service provider is strongly preferred
Practical experience with Cisco MikroTik and FortiGate platforms
Experience with enterprise or data center networking environments
Relevant certifications such as CCNA CCNP or MikroTik certifications are an advantage
Bachelor s degree in IT Computer Engineering Telecommunications or a related field is preferred
Recruitment Technical Evaluation
The recruitment process will include an initial interview to evaluate the candidate s technical background professional experience and communication skills
Shortlisted candidates will also be invited to participate in a practical technical assessment based on real world network engineering scenarios after the first interview This assessment will evaluate their troubleshooting approach technical knowledge problem solving abilities and practical understanding of network infrastructure
