WallGold is building a secure and reliable platform for online gold trading focused on delivering a seamless financial experience through scalable technology and high performance infrastructure
We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Senior Accountant to support the accuracy integrity and efficiency of our financial operations
In this role you will manage key accounting activities across Accounts Receivable AR Accounts Payable AP financial documentation reporting and statutory compliance You will also contribute to strengthening financial controls improving accounting processes and providing reliable financial information to support business decisions
Responsibilities
Manage and monitor Accounts Receivable AR Accounts Payable AP petty cash and day to day accounting transactions
Review verify and record accounting documents to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
Record reconcile and monitor accounting transactions related to the purchase and sale of gold and other precious metals
Review invoices and supporting documents before payment and ensure compliance with applicable tax VAT and Social Security requirements
Manage and reconcile supplier accounts and follow up on outstanding balances and discrepancies
Maintain accurate fixed asset records and support related accounting processes
Prepare periodic financial and management reports for relevant stakeholders
Perform account reconciliations and investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
Ensure accounting activities are performed in accordance with applicable accounting standards tax regulations VAT requirements Social Security regulations and other statutory obligations
Collaborate with auditors tax advisors and relevant external authorities and prepare required financial documentation when needed
Contribute to improving internal controls accounting processes and financial workflows
Support the development and improvement of ERP and financial systems from an accounting and operational perspective
Collaborate with other Finance team members and cross functional teams to resolve financial and operational issues
Contribute to planning problem solving and process optimization within the Finance function
Support and mentor less experienced team members when required
Requirements
Bachelor s degree or higher in Accounting Finance or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands on accounting experience
Strong practical experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and account reconciliation
Good understanding of Iranian tax regulations VAT Social Security requirements and other statutory financial obligations
Experience with accounting processes related to the purchase and sale of gold or other precious metals is considered a strong advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP or financial systems
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to investigate financial discrepancies and identify appropriate solutions
High attention to detail accuracy accountability and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
Professional working proficiency in English
Experience mentoring or supporting junior Finance team members is considered an advantage
Auditing experience is considered an advantage
A proactive results oriented mindset and willingness to continuously improve financial processes
