We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to help shape the technical direction of our products drive engineering excellence and support the growth of our engineering teams
In this role you will lead technical decisions design scalable systems mentor engineers and collaborate closely with Product Engineering and other stakeholders to deliver reliable secure and high performing solutions
Responsibilities
Lead the technical design and architecture of backend services and distributed systems
Drive engineering best practices across software development code quality testing observability and deployment
Review code provide constructive feedback and maintain high engineering standards across the team
Mentor and support software engineers in their technical growth and career development
Collaborate with Product Managers Designers and other engineering teams to define and deliver scalable solutions
Identify and address technical risks bottlenecks and architectural challenges
Participate in system design discussions and make informed decisions regarding scalability security and performance
Improve development workflows deployment pipelines and operational excellence
Contribute hands on to critical parts of the codebase when needed
Foster a culture of ownership accountability continuous learning and technical excellence
Requirements
5 years of professional software development experience
2 years of experience in a senior engineering or technical leadership role
Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend development practices
Experience designing and building scalable high availability distributed systems
Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
Experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI Django or Flask
Strong knowledge of relational and non relational databases such as PostgreSQL Redis and MongoDB
Experience with message brokers and event driven architectures such as Kafka RabbitMQ or similar technologies
Familiarity with cloud native technologies containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong understanding of CI CD practices and DevOps principles
Experience working in Agile development environments
Excellent problem solving communication and stakeholder management skills
