Responsibilities
Lead the collaboration with development operations and quality assurance teams to design implement and maintain robust and scalable DevOps processes and solutions
Develop and manage CI CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery including building testing versioning and deploying applications
Implement and manage configuration management tools to ensure consistency and reliability across environments
Monitor and optimize system performance for scalability and high availability
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure deployment and performance issues
Partner with cross functional teams to implement best practices for infrastructure as code IaC automated provisioning and orchestration
Drive the implementation and management of monitoring logging and alerting solutions to ensure deep visibility into system health and performance
Develop and maintain incident management processes such as triage and escalation and also conduct post mortem reports
Provide on call support for the development team and respond to critical incidents participating in a fair and rotating on call schedule
Stay on top of industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance the team s effectiveness
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
Strong background in Linux Unix Administration
Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps SRE or similar roles preferably in a cloud based environment
Proven experience in designing and implementing CI CD pipelines e g GitLab CI CD ArgoCD or similar tools
Proficiency in scripting languages Bash or Python for automation and configuration management
Hands on experience with infrastructure provisioning tools e g Ansible
In depth knowledge of DevOps principles and practices CI CD
Solid understanding of containerization Docker and container orchestration tools Kubernetes
Familiarity with Git and branching strategies
Knowledge of networking concepts security best practices and the ability to configure and maintain secure infrastructure environments
Experience with message queuing tools e g Kafka RabbitMQ is a plus
Experience with log management tools e g Splunk is a plus
Excellent communication problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
