We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who enjoys solving engineering problems designing reliable systems and taking ownership of the products they build
This is not just a coding role We are looking for an engineer who can analyze requirements design scalable backend architecture make sound technical decisions leverage AI tools to accelerate development and ensure the quality reliability and maintainability of the final product
Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and Django
Build secure reliable and maintainable REST APIs
Design data models and system architecture for production environments
Solve challenges related to concurrency transactions consistency and performance
Debug and resolve complex production issues
Write clean testable and maintainable code
Collaborate with Product Frontend DevOps and QA teams
Take ownership of the services you build throughout their lifecycle
Requirements
5 years of professional Python development experience
Strong hands on experience with Django
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL transactions concurrency and data consistency
Experience with Celery Redis and asynchronous processing
Experience building production grade REST APIs
Good understanding of software architecture clean code and automated testing
Experience with Docker Git and collaborative development workflows
Ability to use AI assisted development tools effectively while validating and improving the generated code
