About the Role
As an Accountant you will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations reconciling financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data You will work with high volumes of transactions and financial information investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution Your work will contribute to the accuracy of financial records and smooth day to day financial operations
Responsibilities
Perform daily and periodic reconciliation of financial transactions and accounts
Review transaction data and identify discrepancies inconsistencies and unusual items
Investigate reconciliation differences and follow up with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution
Maintain accurate and complete accounting records and supporting documentation
Support monthly closing activities and perform required accounting checks
Prepare reconciliation reports and provide clear follow up on outstanding items
Work with large volumes of financial data and ensure data accuracy and completeness
Support the Finance team in daily accounting operations and process improvements
Communicate effectively with relevant internal teams to resolve financial and transaction related issue
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
1 3 years of relevant accounting or financial operations experience
Good command of Excel and experience working with large datasets
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to identify investigate and follow up on discrepancies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow issues through to resolution
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
Experience working in high volume transaction environments is a plus
