DigiExpress is looking for an experienced General Services Manager with proven expertise in overseeing multi site general services operations managing supervisory teams budget control and contractor management to ensure efficient reliable and high quality workplace services
Responsibilities
Oversee general services operations across assigned company locations through General Services Supervisors ensuring consistent service delivery in cleaning catering employee transportation and maintenance support
Establish operational priorities service standards and performance expectations in alignment with business requirements
Lead manage and develop General Services Supervisors ensuring accountability for daily operations team performance and service quality
Oversee workforce planning and resource allocation across locations to ensure adequate staffing and service continuity
Manage general services budgets monitor expenditures control costs and identify opportunities for operational efficiency
Oversee contractor and vendor performance ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and agreed service levels
Monitor service performance inspection results and employee feedback ensuring effective resolution of escalated issues and recurring service failures
Oversee the planning and utilization of general services supplies equipment and resources ensuring effective inventory and cost control
Coordinate with relevant departments including Procurement Finance HR HSE and Maintenance to ensure effective service operations and workplace standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality operational efficiency and employee experience
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field
At least 8 years of relevant experience in General Services Workplace Support or similar service operations
Minimum 3 years of experience in managing supervisors or leading supervisory teams across multiple service areas
Proven experience in managing operational budgets cost control and resource allocation
Strong knowledge of vendor management procurement processes service level agreements SLAs and contract administration
Good understanding of workplace hygiene safety standards and HSE requirements
Experience in workforce planning service performance management and operational reporting
Strong leadership team development communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Excellent analytical problem solving and decision making abilities
Experience overseeing general services operations across multiple locations is an advantage
