We are looking for a motivated Software Service Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development testing and deployment of telecom software solutions This role offers hands on experience in real world projects exposure to telecom technologies and mentorship from industry experts
Provide software service engineering support for telecom software systems including incident resolution defect testing and deployment and performance troubleshooting
Participate in system upgrades patches and change implementations according to maintenance plans and CR processes
Monitor system health analyze query performance bottlenecks and implement tuning recommendations index optimization SQL review resource isolation
Support business continuity operations including traffic control priority management and emergency recovery
Collaborate with customer teams on E2E issues and coordinate with them to resolve issues
Maintain technical documentation runbooks and a knowledge base for recurring issues and resolutions
Requirements
Bachelor s degree or above in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field Master s degree preferred
Experience with Linux and SQL based databases and or administration
Network knowledge including OSI model and IP
Integrations working with APIs including SOAP and JSON
Understanding of telecom software domain concepts billing rating order management customer lifecycle
Understanding of high availability disaster recovery and business continuity planning principles
Ability to work in shift rotation and provide on call on site support during critical major periods
Minimum 1 year of experience in the software domain or valuable and practical project engagement during college preferably in the telecom software domain
Prior experience in large scale software system operations is highly desirable
Interest and knowledge in the telecom industry and business is a plus
Strong problem solving skills and eagerness to learn
Good communication and teamwork abilities
