Action Model Full Time Remote
Action Model is looking for an experienced Web3 Community Discord Manager to take ownership of our 45 000 member Discord community
This isn t just a moderation role We need someone who knows how to grow engage and operate a large Web3 community from managing moderators and support tickets to Discord bots automation events partnerships and growth campaigns
You ll own the day to day community operation and help turn our Discord into one of the strongest communities in AI and Web3
About Action Model
Action Model is building a community powered Large Action Model LAM AI designed to take actions not just generate text
Our community helps train the technology and participates in the wider Action Model ecosystem Community ownership and participation are central to what we re building
What You ll Own
Discord Community Management
Manage and improve a 45 000 member Discord
Organise channels roles permissions access and onboarding
Keep the community clean welcoming and easy to navigate
Manage spam scams bots and bad actors
Continuously improve community systems and processes
Growth Engagement
Develop and execute strategies to
Grow active members and improve retention
Turn new members into active participants
Convert social followers and ecosystem users into community members
Run referral campaigns partnerships competitions AMAs and events
Create daily weekly activities discussions challenges polls and community calls
Build recognition reward ambassador and contributor initiatives
Test new growth ideas and measure what works
We want someone constantly thinking How do we make this community bigger stronger and more active
Moderator Management
Manage and coordinate the moderation team
Recruit moderators when needed
Define responsibilities coverage and escalation processes
Review performance and run regular check ins
Ensure community questions are answered and rules are applied consistently
Our moderators should operate as an organised team not a loose collection of volunteers
Support Ticketing
Ensure tickets meet agreed response and resolution SLAs
Monitor assign close and escalate tickets
Identify recurring product or technical issues
Improve FAQs and automated support
Report useful community feedback to Product Marketing and Operations
Discord Bots Automation
You should be comfortable configuring Discord bots and ideally creating or modifying custom solutions for
Ticketing and automated support
Onboarding verification and role assignment
Anti spam and anti scam systems
Analytics and engagement XP systems
Referral tracking and community rewards
Event notifications
Custom Action Model integrations
You don t need to be a senior engineer but you should be technically capable enough to improve Discord without relying on developers for every change
What We re Looking For
Essential
Experience managing a large Discord community
Strong Web3 crypto blockchain or token community experience
Advanced knowledge of Discord administration and permissions
Experience managing moderators
Experience with Discord bots and automation
Proven community growth and engagement experience
Experience with community support ticketing
Excellent written English and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
Strong advantage
Managed a 25 000 member Discord
Built or modified custom Discord bots
JavaScript TypeScript Python API or Discord development experience
Experience with Web3 launches and token incentives
Ambassador referral or contributor program experience
Managed global moderator teams
Experience with Discord analytics tools
Existing Web3 community network
Interest in AI agents automation or decentralized technology
What Success Looks Like
We re not looking for someone who simply keeps Discord running We want someone who improves it
You ll measure and improve areas including
Active members growth activation and retention
Meaningful conversations and event participation
Ticket response and resolution times
Moderator performance
Community sentiment
Referral and invite growth
Conversion into active Action Model participants
You ll regularly report on these metrics and what you re doing to improve them
