We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer PHP to join our client a growing fintech company where you will design develop and maintain scalable and reliable backend services
Key Responsibilities
bull Design develop and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel
bull Develop and improve services based on Microservices architecture and software design principles
bull Design and develop scalable and reliable APIs and improve existing services
bull Contribute to backend architecture decisions and select appropriate technical solutions based on product requirements
bull Analyze and optimize the performance scalability and reliability of backend services
bull Design and improve database structures and optimize queries and data access processes
bull Identify and resolve technical issues bugs and performance challenges in production environments
bull Collaborate closely with Product Frontend QA and DevOps teams to develop and deliver new features
bull Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality readability and maintainability
bull Document services APIs and technical decisions and contribute to improving development standards
bull Contribute to designing and implementing technical solutions that improve product scalability and reliability
bull Evaluate and adopt relevant technologies and tools to improve backend development processes
What You Bring
bull 5 years of professional experience in Backend Development
bull Strong proficiency in PHP and solid experience in backend development
bull Strong hands on experience with Laravel and developing production grade applications using the framework
bull Practical experience designing and developing Microservices architectures
bull Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
bull Solid knowledge of OOP Design Patterns and SOLID principles
bull Hands on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL including query optimization
bull Experience with Redis and Message Brokers
bull Familiarity with Docker and CI CD practices and experience working with production environments
bull Good understanding of scalability high availability and distributed systems
bull Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to problem solving
bull Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice To Have
bull Experience in FinTech financial services or payment products is a plus
