We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Automation Engineer to join our IT Services team and take end to end ownership of enterprise services with an automation first and AI first mindset
This role combines Systems Engineering Infrastructure Identity Automation and Service Ownership and goes beyond traditional support or system administration
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and support Windows and Linux systems in an enterprise environment
Administer Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP Entra ID Microsoft 365 Teams Exchange and ADFS
Manage Linux servers services networking permissions Nginx and troubleshooting
Own services end to end from design and implementation to monitoring incident management security documentation and continuous improvement
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform Root Cause Analysis
Automate manual and repetitive tasks using PowerShell Python Bash APIs and workflow automation
Use AI in day to day engineering for scripting troubleshooting log analysis documentation and intelligent workflows or agents
Improve monitoring and alerting and reduce recurring incidents
Collaborate with Network Security Infrastructure and Application teams to resolve cross team issues
Maintain technical documentation architecture diagrams runbooks and operational procedures
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Windows Server and Active Directory
Linux Administration
Microsoft 365 Teams and Exchange
Identity and Authentication LDAP SAML OAuth OIDC
PowerShell and at least one of Python or Bash
REST APIs JSON and Webhooks
Git
DNS TCP IP Firewalls Reverse Proxies and Load Balancers
Monitoring and Log Analysis
Nice to Have
Experience with Ansible Terraform Docker Kubernetes Grafana CI CD Microsoft Graph AI Agents or MCP is considered a plus
