The Senior Pricing Data Analyst uses data to optimize the platform s pricing strategy analyzing trends and making strategic recommendations that keep prices competitive fair and sustainable for both drivers and riders The goal is to drive platform usage and business growth while balancing supply and demand health
Responsibilities
Analyze pricing data to optimize strategy surface new opportunity spaces and diagnose funnel issues
Plan and run pricing A B tests to improve key KPIs from hypothesis design through results analysis and rollout recommendations
Contribute to new pricing features partnering with other business and product departments from concept to launch
Extract data from primary and secondary sources internal databases external web sources using automated tools and pipelines
Clean and validate data for accuracy and quality
Develop and maintain databases and data systems organizing data into structured easily queryable formats
Enhance data collection procedures to capture information relevant to building and improving analytics systems
Cover pricing monitoring shifts to keep core business metrics healthy reacting quickly to anomalies or degradation
Build and maintain reports and dashboards graphs charts tables maps that make findings accessible to technical and non technical audiences alike
Maintain existing pricing reports and develop new ones to support day to day business performance and decision making
Apply descriptive and inferential statistics to summarize data test hypotheses and uncover patterns and relationships
Requirements
3 years of experience in a related analytical or data field
Strong SQL skills particularly for extracting and shaping data from large complex datasets
Proficiency in at least one data science programming language Python preferred including libraries such as pandas scikit learn and NumPy
Solid grounding in the mathematical foundations of statistics optimization and experimental design A B testing causal inference
Strong data storytelling able to translate analysis into clear actionable narratives for varied stakeholders
Analytical mindset with sharp critical thinking and problem solving skills
Self driven resourceful and genuinely motivated by the work
Nice to have familiarity with ML concepts and hands on application of them
Nice to have academic background in Economics
