Foreign Trade Sourcing Specialist
We are looking for a proactive analytical and detail oriented Foreign Trade Sourcing Specialist to join our international procurement team
Key Requirements amp Qualifications
bull 2 ndash 4 years of relevant experience in international sourcing foreign trade procurement import or commercial operations
bull Bachelor rsquo s degree in International Business Business Administration Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Chemistry Chemical Engineering Pharmacy or a related field
bull Good understanding of international sourcing and procurement processes
bull Familiarity with import procedures international logistics customs clearance and shipping documentation
bull Knowledge of international trade terms and documents including Incoterms Proforma Invoice Purchase Order Commercial Invoice Packing List Bill of Lading and Certificate of Origin
bull Familiarity with international payment methods such as TT and LC is an advantage
bull Ability to research international markets identify potential suppliers and evaluate quotations based on price quality lead time technical specifications and commercial terms
bull Strong negotiation and supplier communication skills
bull Strong Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis quotation comparison and reporting
bull Good written and spoken English
bull Strong attention to detail and ability to identify commercial discrepancies supply risks and potential delivery issues
bull Highly organized proactive responsible and persistent in following up on tasks
bull Strong teamwork communication and cross functional coordination skills
bull Ability to work under pressure manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
bull Adaptability and willingness to learn new regulations systems markets and business practices
bull Flexibility to undertake domestic or international business travel when required

bull Identify reliable international suppliers and evaluate them based on commercial technical quality and delivery criteria
bull Analyze quotations and commercial terms carefully and identify cost saving opportunities
bull Ask the right questions and clarify requirements before proceeding with purchases
bull Negotiate effectively with suppliers on pricing delivery schedules payment terms and Incoterms
bull Identify potential supply logistics and commercial risks early and follow through until they are resolved
bull Coordinate effectively with internal teams suppliers freight forwarders customs brokers and other external stakeholders
bull Take ownership of sourcing activities and ensure timely follow up on orders shipments and documentation
bull Adapt quickly to changing market conditions import regulations and business requirements
bull Work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
