At Yaasaan we are looking for a motivated Android Developer skilled in Kotlin and modern Android tools to build clean UI components integrate APIs and support feature development while learning and growing within our fast paced product team
Responsibilities
Implement UI screens and components using Jetpack Compose and XML according to designs provided by the UI UX team
Develop simple to medium complexity features under guidance from Senior or Lead Android developers
Consume backend APIs REST JSON and connect them to UI layers
Debug and fix issues and perform elementary testing to ensure feature stability
Write clean readable and maintainable code following team standards
Use Git for daily workflow commit branch merge requests according to team processes
Participate in daily stand ups sprint planning and coordination meetings
Gradually learn and adopt Android tools and technologies
Required Skills Qualifications
Practical experience with Kotlin and Android SDK
Strong grasp of OOP concepts and Kotlin fundamentals
Ability to work with APIs and manage data in the app
Familiarity with Git commit branching merge workflows
High motivation to learn and grow as an Android developer
Hands on experience with Jetpack Compose and XML
Familiarity with ViewModel LiveData or StateFlow for daily use
Basic understanding of Android app architecture principles
Nice to Have Bonus Skills
Exposure to testing basics unit tests UI tests
Knowledge of Navigation components or Android Jetpack libraries
Previous experience building and publishing simple Android apps
