Job Overview
As a member of the product design team you will play a crucial role in bringing integrated and user friendly designs to market Your expertise in designing digital products particularly in the field of e commerce will be instrumental in helping the team achieve the goals of our stakeholders
Responsibilities
User Research and Persona Recognition Conduct comprehensive user research to understand user needs and behaviors and develop detailed personas to guide the design process
Wireframe Design Create detailed wireframes that outline the structure and functionality of the digital product
Prototype Creation Develop interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts and facilitate usability testing
Design Systems Understand and contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems ensuring scalable design solutions
User Interface Design Develop user interface designs that are cohesive and aligned with the overall system design
Quality Control Perform quality control checks on the output designs for both web and mobile products to ensure they meet the required standards
Usability Testing Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs to improve user experience
Qualifications
Experience A minimum of 3 years of experience in product design with a strong focus on digital products
Proficiency in Figma Demonstrated expertise in using Figma for designing and prototyping
System Design Knowledge Strong understanding of system design principles and the ability to use Figma to create required components
User Centered Design In depth knowledge of the principles and processes of user centered design
Agile and Scrum Familiarity Familiarity with software development processes particularly Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework
Responsive Design Understanding the principles and rules of responsive design to ensure designs are effective across various devices
Mobile Application Design Proficient in designing for mobile applications with an understanding of mobile design principles
Soft Skills
Discipline and Attention to Detail Demonstrates a disciplined and structured approach to design work consistently maintaining quality accuracy and alignment with established standards and processes
Initiative and Ownership Proactively identifies design opportunities and potential issues takes ownership of tasks and outcomes and independently drives solutions from concept through implementation
