Responsibilities
Lead the engineering roadmap balancing long term goals with resource capacity and priorities
Collaborate with Product and Business Leads to align plans with strategic objectives and ensure efficient release management
Act as a liaison between engineering and other departments promoting cross functional alignment and workflow optimization
Define and implement growth strategies for the engineering team aligning individual goals with organizational objectives
Collaborate with Team Leads to foster mentoring and support team member development while guiding conflict resolution and ensuring transparency
Oversee performance evaluations and partner with HR to design development plans and succession paths
Set high level technical direction ensuring scalability code quality and alignment with business objectives
Establish standards for technical debt management innovation and best practices to foster continuous improvement
Requirements
Experience 5 years in software development including 3 years in leadership roles with a proven track record of managing complex engineering projects
Strong understanding of software architecture scalability and modern development methodologies
Proficiency in front end and back end development with experience in cloud computing and infrastructure
