Overview
We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with a strong problem solving mindset and genuine interest in financial markets and algorithmic trading
Your main responsibility will be to understand real trading and financial problems and translate them into reliable software working closely with product trading and domain experts to turn ideas and strategies into production systems
Requirements
Strong professional experience with Python
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Experience with asynchronous and event driven programming
Good understanding of concurrency multiprocessing and threading
Deep understanding of Apache Kafka and distributed messaging systems
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non technical stakeholders
Strong understanding of Microservices and Scalability challenges
Experience with Redis including caching pub sub and in memory data structures
Genuine curiosity about financial markets trading and investment products
Nice to Have
Familiarity with SQL databases
Experience building RESTful APIs with Django
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Celery for distributed task processing
